Spyder Active Skiwear
When planning for skiing or doing an outdoor activity with the cold weather, the first thing you should have is the protection against cold and a perfect outfit that can keep you warm. In buying a skiwear, you should first consider some factors like the temperature, your body temperature and the outside temperature, then the quality of the skiwear, the durability of the product and also the fitting to make sure you are comfortable with what you are wearing.
In skiing, as you may know, the ideal way of clothing is to use different layers. As far as skiing is concerned, the layering system should provide warmth, weight, moisture management, and comfort. Generally, it is advisable to follow the three-layer system. First is the base layer which consists of thermal underwear. Second is the middle layer or the general clothing. Then the third layer is the outer shell which serves as your protection against wind and rain. In skiing, the wind greatly influences the temperature, so you should consider that skiwear with windproof capability. The rain also has a great impact with the temperature and also your performance, so your ski jacket should be waterproof.
If you are planning to buy ski apparel, you might want to consider Spyder skiwear. Frequently Asked Questions...
Can I use a normal battery in my Spyder Pilot ACS?
My Kingman Spyder Pilot ACS paintball marker came with a rechargeable 9.6 volt battery... I was wondering if I could use a normal battery as a back up in case my rechargeable one runs out....
The manual said only to use Kingman approved rechargeable batteries...
Answer:
You definitely should stick with the 9.6 volt battery. Will your marker work on a regular 9 volt? Yes. Is it good for the marker? NO....at least not long term. There have been reports of fried boards. There are also problems that the little "low battery" light will stay on all the time when you're using a regular 9 volt on occasions.
For the most part if your battery is charged properly you shouldn't have a problem with it going dead on you unless you're playing an insanely long time. The 9.6 battery will actually last longer in your marker than the regular 9.
Two ideas for you. 1. pick up an extra 9.6 volt if you're really worried about it. 2. get a car charger from kingman. That way if for some reason you run dead, you can plug it in and in a couple minutes you're good to go for awhile.
