How can I make my mixed bowling league more fun?
Please share your ideas on how to make the mixed bowling league fun, as it was intended, and to keep pin stackers out of the league! While we want people to try for their personal bests, we want to discourage people using the league for their own personal practice session with prize rewards! There are other leagues available for elite bowlers. Proven concepts should include either bowling night formats/games, and/or, prize structuring. Thanks!

wanting to make a league fun can be difficult and wanting to keep elite bowlers out of it could actually hurt the league and with many leagues losing bowlers each and every year you shouldnt really want that to happen. and withought some high avg bowlers it could hurt the league because whether ur a 120 avg or 220 avg people like to see someone shoot big scores. but here is what i could suggest off the top of my head:
1. ask the bowling center to put out a little tougher lane condition so that the higher avg bowlers are brought back down to a more realistic avg. not so tough where a 180 avgs 140 but where the 220-230 avg avgs like low 200's 210
2. put a max team avg on the league so that the high avg bowlers cant put stacked teams in. say for a 4 man team max be like 750 or 5 man team be 950
3. over the course of the year take money that come from the prize fund or add say a 1 dollar to the cost of a league. and have an in league tournament where they can win tickets to say a football or baseball game once a month for like most pins over avg in a night or something to give the lower avg bowlers a chance to shoot for something. because most higher avg bowlers are not gonna shoot 150 pins over avg in a night.
4. have something like a bull roast at the end of the seson
