TaylorMade R9 Driver Flexible Driver
The new TaylorMade R9 driver is the most complete driver ever made by TaylorMade. It features flight control technology and movable weight technology, plus a light weight graphite shaft. The total adjustability of this driver makes it equivalent to having 24 drivers in your golf bag. You can completely customize this driver to suit your swing, and the shot you wish to make.
The TaylorMade R9 driver offers more performance enhancing features and adjustability than any other driver. The flight control technology allows you to adjust the loft, face angle, and lie angle allowing eight different club head positions. These adjustments can change the range of the club by up to forty yards. To make adjustments, you need to loosen the bolt in the bottom of the club head. This allows the small metallic sleeve over the bottom of the shaft to be turned to a new position. This changes the club head characteristics. The bolt is then tightened to secure the shaft to the head. A special tool comes with the club to fit the bolt.
The portable pounds technologies from the TaylorMade R9 car owner consists of one sixteen gram pounds and two one gram weight load that may change the middle of the law of gravity of the head to additional enhance flight as well as golf ball flight. The differences can be up to 75 yards side to side. Place the heavy weight within the back heel position to enhance a draw, in the foot position to promote a diminish, as well as in the center placement for any directly shot.
The TaylorMade R9 driver has a high performance Fujikura Motore 65 gram graphite shaft. Combined with inverted cone technology, this driver gives you increased ball speed and improved distance on off-centre hits.

Hi! I have a 20 handicap in golf. I've been golfing once a week for 3 years and I plan to start playing 2-3 times per week now not including driving range sessions. I am going to get Taylormade R9 irons for sure, but should I get steel or graphite shafts? My driving distance is around 210 - 230 yards, sometimes straight, and sometimes with a slice. My 7-iron distance is around 160 yards straight. Thanks a lot for your help! 
Sorry I forgot to mention that I am 18 years old and I currently use a set of Taylormade 320 irons with stiff graphite shafts (they are only stiff shafted because they were my dad's old clubs)

go get fitted, and see what is best for you. most major golf stores in your area will offer this service. this will help you find the best shafts, loft, lie, length for your game and will produce the best results for you. you should hit some other clubs too, taylormade r9's are great but there are some other sweet sticks similar to those in performance that you may like better. ping g15 are good, and a lot of the combo sets out there are really good for the weekend player too. best of luck.
