Golf Courses Make A Great Place To Take A Walk
If you are not a golfer, that big bag of clubs seems like an awfully hard way to take a walk. Golf courses are scenic locations that provide some of the nicest parks in the country. They contain rolling hills, lakes, ponds, and even small islands. They are a great place to take a walk and enjoy the outdoors.
The scenery that makes up a golf course is picturesque and pleasant. No matter what town the course may be in chances are it is the nicest spot in the entire town. The courses the pro's play on TV are a perfect example of this. Just look at the views from Pebble Beach.
However if you want enjoy the scenic surroundings you will need to learn to play the game of golf. Course managers usually frown upon you just walking on their finely tailored lawns. You will notice that the grass on golf courses is nicer than you could ever hope your yard to be. All of this just to hit a ball with a stick.
Well if you want to enjoy these scenic locations you will need to learn how to play golf. The first thing you need to know is what are all those clubs for? Couldn't you just use one stick for the entire course?
Clubs each have their specific purpose. There is a club intended for situation along a golf course. The biggest clubs in the bag are known naps woods. These clubs were originally made of wood but now moist of them consist of titanium. The largest of the woods are known as drivers. The purpose of these clubs is to hit the ball off the tee and toward the hole. The larger the face heads of a driver the better. There are limits to the size these can be. A driver's purpose is to provide a long straight drive off the tee. The longer the better.
The bigger the wood the better. However there are regulations that restrict the size of a driver. These clubs cannot exceed an entire head of area of more than 460cc. Taylor made wood clubs are some of the best woods manufactured. These clubs are designed to provide you with increased accuracy off the tee. The better you can hit the ball off the tee the better the rest of your game will typically be.
